Md. Humayun Kabir

Md. Humayun Kabir is a senior development professional with more than 30 years of extensive experience in Bangladesh’s NGO sector, specializing in programme and project management, organizational development, compliance, and resource mobilization. He possesses in-depth expertise in NGO Affairs Bureau (NGOAB) procedures, national regulatory frameworks, and international NGO best practices, with a strong track record in compliance management, donor reporting, and quality assurance systems.

Over the course of his career, he has successfully managed the full lifecycle of more than 100 projects across diverse sectors, including education, health, livelihoods, WASH, child protection, and emergency response. His expertise includes fundraising strategy, policy formulation, research, monitoring and evaluation, and digital transformation initiatives that strengthen institutional performance and accountability.

He is highly skilled in developing simplified standard operating procedures (SOPs), reporting templates, and management tools that improve organizational efficiency, transparency, and evidence-based decision-making. His strong analytical, facilitation, and report-writing capabilities have supported the capacity development of numerous NGOs and INGOs throughout Bangladesh.

Currently serving as Director at Creative Services Limited (CSL), he leads research, resource mobilization, and consultancy initiatives focused on organizational capacity assessment, policy formulation, and fundraising strategy development. His previous leadership positions include Deputy Executive Director at RISDA-Bangladesh, CEO of Rights and Sight for Children, and Programme Manager at Terre des Hommes Netherlands, where he progressed from Management Trainee to senior management leadership.

Md. Humayun Kabir holds an M.A. in English Literature from University of Dhaka and brings a holistic leadership approach that combines grassroots development experience with strategic executive management expertise.
