Kazi Nabiul Haque

Kazi Nabiul Haque is a distinguished development professional with 48 years of extensive national and international experience in leadership, programme management, institutional development, social protection, humanitarian response, and resource mobilization. Since 1978, he has contributed to the development sector through senior leadership, advisory, consultancy, and technical roles across government, NGOs, INGOs, donor agencies, and international development organizations.

Throughout his career, he has held several top management positions, including Country Director of Muslim Hands International Bangladesh Country Office, Country Director and Country Team Leader of Lepra Bangladesh, Team Leader for World Bank-supported Government of Bangladesh projects, Acting Country Director of Plan International, CEO and Lead Consultant of Resource Foundation.

He has also served in numerous senior leadership and technical advisory positions, including Director at Dhaka Ahsania Mission, Technical Advisor for social development and institutional strengthening with the World Bank, Programme Development and Resource Mobilization Advisor at Social Marketing Company, and Partnership Development Advisor at Muslim Hands International. His experience further includes leadership roles in child protection, business development, research, and development programme implementation with organizations such as UNICEF, FAO, and UNDP.

As an international consultant and development strategist, Kazi Nabiul Haque has worked with a broad range of bilateral, multilateral, and international agencies, including Asian Development Bank, USAID, European Union, Oxfam, Save the Children, BRAC International, and IFC, among many others. His consultancy portfolio covers organizational development, institutional assessment, social protection, disability inclusion, humanitarian response, fundraising, partnership development, and programme quality assurance.

In addition to his national leadership contributions, he has represented several international organizations in Bangladesh, including Resource Alliance (UK), Chemonics (USA), and Australian Business Volunteers.
