Workshop Objectives and Key Discussions

The primary goal of the workshop was to assess organizational readiness for impact investment by identifying strengths, gaps, and strategic priorities that can enable Wave Foundation to attract and effectively utilize impact investment resources. The session created a collaborative platform for participants to engage in structured discussions on institutional capacity, investment readiness, financial sustainability, and governance frameworks.

During the workshop, CSL’s expert facilitators introduced the diagnostic framework and tools tailored for impact investment readiness. This was followed by interactive group activities and guided discussions focusing on:

• Understanding core organizational capacities and challenges related to impact investment,
• Exploring emerging trends in the impact investment ecosystem,
• Identifying key areas for capacity development and strategic alignment,
• Highlighting opportunities to link Wave Foundation’s mission with investor expectations.

Participants shared valuable insights into institutional structures, programmatic strengths, financial management practices, and innovative approaches to scaling social impact.

CSL’s Facilitation Role and Workshop Scope

Creative Services Limited (CSL) led the workshop using a participatory diagnostic methodology designed to:

• Evaluate current organizational readiness across governance, operations, financial systems, and impact measurement,
• Support development of actionable recommendations to enhance Wave Foundation’s investment readiness,
• Promote strategic thinking around partnerships, measurable impact pathways, and sustainable investment models.

The workshop outcomes are intended to inform Wave Foundation’s strategic planning process and strengthen its positioning in the impact investment landscape.

Outcomes and Next Steps

The workshop yielded a detailed assessment of strengths and capacity gaps, as well as practical recommendations to support Wave Foundation in enhancing its readiness for impact investment. CSL will further compile these findings into a comprehensive Organizational Readiness Diagnostic Report, which will be shared with Wave Foundation leadership for implementation planning.
