Two-Day Strategic Plan Development Workshop for CDD Facilitated by CSL

Dhaka, December 12–13, 2026 – Creative Services Limited (CSL) is successfully facilitating a Two-Day Strategic Plan Development Workshop for the Centre for Development Dialogue (CDD). The workshop is being held over two days in Dhaka and brings together senior leadership, technical experts, program managers, and key stakeholders from CDD for an intensive strategic planning process.

Workshop Purpose and Focus Areas

The primary objective of the workshop is to support CDD in developing a comprehensive Strategic Plan that will guide its organizational priorities, strengthen program delivery, and enhance its contribution to national development discourse. The workshop is structured to facilitate a participatory and reflective planning approach that builds on CDD’s vision and organizational strengths.

Over the course of the two days, participants are engaging in a series of discussions, group exercises, and technical sessions focused on:

  • Reviewing CDD’s mission, vision, and core values in the context of current development challenges,
  • Analyzing external opportunities and risks to inform strategic objectives,
  • Identifying institutional priorities and programmatic focus areas for the coming planning period,
  • Establishing measurable goals, milestones, and implementation pathways,
  • Strengthening internal systems for monitoring, evaluation, learning, and adaptive management.

CSL’s expert facilitators are guiding the process using internationally recognized strategic planning tools adapted to CDD’s organizational context.

CSL’s Facilitation Role and Methodology

Creative Services Limited (CSL) is providing technical facilitation to ensure that the strategic planning process is inclusive, evidence-informed, and outcome-oriented. Key elements of CSL’s support include:

  • Designing the workshop agenda aligned with strategic planning best practices,
  • Facilitating structured sessions that encourage consensus building and shared ownership,
  • Supporting data analysis and synthesis of insights to shape strategic priorities,
  • Providing advisory inputs on performance frameworks and monitoring mechanisms.

The workshop methodology emphasizes active engagement of CDD’s leadership and staff to foster internal alignment and commitment to the newly developed strategic directions.

Expected Outcomes and Next Steps

By the end of the workshop, CDD will have drafted a robust and actionable Strategic Plan framework that captures its organizational goals, strategic objectives, and implementation strategies for the coming period. CSL will compile the outcomes of the workshop into a consolidated Strategic Plan Draft, which will be reviewed and finalized by CDD leadership.

Following the workshop, CSL will continue to support CDD through:

  • Refinement of the strategic plan based on feedback and further consultations,
  • Development of operational plans aligned with the strategic framework,
  • Follow-up technical guidance to support implementation readiness.

This initiative marks an important milestone in strengthening CDD’s strategic direction and organizational capacity to advance its mission effectively in a dynamic development landscape.
